I'm pretty sure they're some kind of galliform - they don't seem to be anseriforms, ratites, megapodes, jacanas, cranes, or sandgrouse. They're probably peafowl chicks, but I'm not confident in my identification.
I'd say you are correct, Albertonykus. They are peachicks, so they will grow into peacocks and peahens (or peafowl in general). I saw a lot of these little guys at the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg.
