well i left new plymouth in a hurry... i didn't want to risk whiro, maori god of darkness, catching up with me again.

due to my hitting puke ariki a night i had to drive out of town, and sleep randomly in the darkness on the side of the road.

when i woke i had the most amazing sight in front of me... one of the most symmetrical volcanoes in the world, and one of the biggest mountains of the north island...

mount taranaki!

real pretty.

sadly i couldn't really go and explore as i had other places i HAD to get to for ms. rhonwyn. at least i got to see it though...
