starting a blog...

hi there! i'm traumador the tyrannosaur!

today i just learned about this thing called the innerweb (though i have yet to be able to see a spider web in the back of my throat) and decided to check it out. it is really cool. through this magic box in the libaray it's like I'm connected to the whole world... i wonder how they do that? i can still see everything outside the window is okay, but then its also here in the box?!?

while i was checking out this co-puter my buddy cam walked by and told me i should start a blog...

so he made the magic box come here. cam tells me the point of a blog is to tell everyone on the innerweb about yourself... which is funny cause i can't see anyone on here. hello? are you there people of the innerweb? i can't see you...

well my name is traumador the tyrannosaur. i live in drumheller canada. it is a pretty cool place. that's cause it's a dinosaur town. there's tons of us living here, and humans from all over come to visit us. i work and live at the royal tyrrell museum of palaeontology with all my dino buddies.

today is a weird day cause it is the first day that the summer is over for us here at the museum. less people are coming to visit. so all the extra staff we had working here to help with the summer have gone. it's kinda sad and lonely now... espically since i'm still not allowed to live in the dinosaur gallery.

see only the big special important dinosaurs are allowed to live in the dino hall cause it's what all our visitors come to see. i'm very very small for a tyrannosaur, and whoever wanted to see a small tyrannosaur. so i'm not allowed to live in there...

just look how small i am compared to my mom in this picture (oh and you can see alot of the other guys who live in there!)...

but i do have a really really cool place called the Cretaceous garden. it's called a green house (but i could never figure out why... it's not green or even a house... just a big square made of glass...) and is full of plants that were around when we dinosaurs ruled the earth!

during the summer my job was to stand in the garden really still for the tourists to look at. just like in my great picture up top. that's me working! now that the summer is over though i don't know what i'm going to be doing. cam says they'll know for me soon. till then though i'm just going keep checking out this cool innerweb
